Getting the garden ready for our plants

Our beautiful plants the students helped plant last month, during Project Cornerstone Week, are ready to go into our garden. Some work needed to be done first. We needed dirt!  WM Earthcare donated the dirt to our school.  Friday April 18th after school a few of us enjoyed watching the dump truck drop off tons of beautiful dirt.

We scheduled a family work day and had some amazing volunteers come and help move the dirt into the garden. We were able to fill up every planter box! Plus, have extra which we will be using to raise up our strawberry beds, add a cherry tree and possibly add other berry bushes!

We took all the plants out of the green house to harden up before going into the beds.

Thanks to Amy, a wonderful Capri mom, for volunteering to help transplant a few of the plants into larger pots for our upcoming 2nd Annual Capri Garden Sale.

Our 2nd Annual Capri Garden Plant Sale will be Monday and Tuesday April 28th and 29th. Each plant $2 with all proceeds going back into the Capri Garden.
