Garden Beds Prepped and More Seeds Planted

With a few garden volunteers and some very successful garden days the beds where all prepped and ready for our seedlings to be transferred from the green house into the garden.

Ms. Harrington's class added some color to the garden by planting some beautiful flowers. 

Many classes helped plant seeds directly into the ground. We have 4 rows of corn, 2 pumpkin and some turnips planted into the largest garden bed.

One of our beds is consumed with mint so we are working on a friendly way to eliminate it. We would love to have mint but it needs a more controlled environment. Once the mint is gone we will be able to use the bed for more vegetables.
